Our focus on Spring specials continues with a celebration of asparagus this May.
We always look forward to English asparagus and our supplier, Cobrey Farm in Herefordshire, grows some of the best in the country. The Valley has its own microclimate with south-facing slopes and sandy soil; the asparagus obviously loves it because it tastes great.
Try asparagus in two our new seasonal salad for May:
